Dallas Valley Ranch Camp

The Grade 7s in our class will be joining Mlle Reed’s Grade 7s class along with Mme Labar-Ahmed’s Grade 8s on an Outdoor Ed. adventure! On February 7^th and 8^th 2012 we will be going to Dallas Valley Ranch Camp for two days and one night. The camp is located in the Boggy Creek Valley five kilometers south-east of Lumsden (about 20 minute drive north-west of Regina). Mlle Reed, Mme Labar-Ahmed and I have already started our planning, and we will begin fundraising in October. I will be sending a letter home with more information in the next little while.

Terry Fox Run/Walk 2011

The school has started fundraising for Terry Fox Run/Walk 2011 called Toonies for Terry. Students and staff are encouraged to bring a Toonie for Terry from September 19^th-September 28^th. There will also be a penny drive to see which class can fill a jar with the most pennies. All donations are voluntary. The walk will take place September 29^th at 1:00. A note was sent home today (Tuesday) about the fundraiser and walk.
