The grade 7s had their first canoeing lesson at the Lawson today! The students had a lot of fun playing games in the pool and tipping their canoes.

Yearbooks:
I have received the 2010-2011 Yearbooks. The grade 7s got back late from canoeing at the end of the day so we didn't have a chance to pass them out. Students will get them at the end of the day tomorrow.

Welcome BBQ and Open House:

The Welcome BBQ and Open House will be September 15^th, 2011. The BBQ will be from 5:00-5:45 pm and the Open House will start around 5:45 pm in the gym and at 6:00 pm in the classrooms. I hope to see you all there!

Band has started!
Grade 6 and 7 have Full band on Day 2, and 6/7 Sectionals are on Day 3.

Homework
There is no homework assigned by Mme Sweeney today, although other teachers may have assigned work.
