Jour 5
Our next ski trip is on Thursday, January 22nd at 12:45. It
would be helpful to have an extra adult come along so if you are
available and would like to come out, please let me know by email.
Our
class is participating in a Mini Language Program through the
Saskatchewan Organization for Heritage Languages. We will be learning
Igbo (spoken in Eastern Nigeria) throughout 8 lessons. We had our first
lesson this week during which we learned a bit about certain Nigerian
traditions and a few greetings/phrases in Igbo (pronounced Eboe). These
lessons align with various Social Studies outcomes for Grade 6.
