Jour 3

We are skating tomorrow and January 21st.  All students must wear a helmet.

The class did a great job skiing today and we had perfect weather and snow!  Our next ski trip is on Thursday, January 22nd at 12:45.  It would be helpful to have an extra adult come along so if you are available and would like to come out, please let me know by email.

There is a case of pinworm in Grade 1.  It is highly contagious but easily treatable.  More information below:

Our class is participating in a Mini Language Program through the Saskatchewan Organization for Heritage Languages.  We will be learning Igbo (spoken in Eastern Nigeria) throughout 8 lessons.  We had our first lesson this week during which we learned a bit about certain Nigerian traditions and a few greetings/phrases in Igbo (pronounced Eboe).  These lessons align with various Social Studies outcomes for Grade 6.
