Student blogs!

We will be starting weekly writing assignments on our student blog at KidBlog.
Students and parents can link to this blog at

Students were given their username and password today. They are asked to change their password tonight and write a couple of sentences about their favourite book. They are asked to explain why it is their favourite. The blogs are only to be used for classroom activities described by me. It is very important that students do not give out their passwords to other students. Each student is responsible for whatever is posted on his or her blog.

A part of the activity is commenting on a classmate’s blog post. Only positive, constructive, and relevant comments will be accepted. If a student missuses the blog, their account will be removed and other consequences will be put in place.

Homework:

-Blog test: Name your favourite book and describe in a few sentences why it’s your favourite. Comment on a classmate’s blog post.
